11:00 am. Leaving Ballater and driving through the Cairngorms. We're on our way back to the city. Will be dropping Cid off in Glasgow before I'm heading back to Edinburgh.

9:30 pm. Walked down to the Grassmarket to see what's going on and to take some photos of the night life.
10:00 pm. Grassmarket. Meeting Allan and we start talking. He told me that I will be seeing some real characters around here soon because the Care Van is due to turn up any minute.

The Care Van is a joint venture between
Edinburgh City Mission and the
Bethany Christian Trust. They tour the city at night and make stops at several places to supply hot soup and coffee to those in need.
Spending about an hour chatting to Allan and some of the others.

A few more observations of Edinburgh at night.
11:00 pm. Going back to my hostel now and back home to Bournemouth tomorrow morning. Watch out Scotland, I'll be back soon!!!
