September Scotland Tour - Day 3 - Edinburgh to Fort William

7:45 am. Enjoying a coffee on the courtyard terrace at Hotel Missoni, Edinburgh. Planning the day ahead. Cid and me will be touring Scotland for a few days. We'll be going through Glen Coe passing Stirling, Callander and Crianlarich. Finding a place to stay for the night in the Fort William area.

12:30 pm. We've managed to find our way out of Edinburgh, thanks to the Felix at the Missoni.

Making our first quick stop for photos and stocking up on groceries. It has just started to rain a little.

5:00 pm. Entering Glen Coe. It's still pouring down. Stopping anyway to take in and try to capture the view.

Me in action.
6:00 pm. It's been raining heavily on and off all afternoon.

The curious thing is that every time it stops raining and we manage to find a place to stop the car, it starts pouring down again as soon as we're out with our cameras. Cid believes that's no coincidence!

7:00 pm. We've decided to look for a place to stay for the night. Dropped into Glen Nevis Youth Hostel and checked into a bunk room. By that time it's been raining heavily.
To end the night we've spent the evening in the car, drinking red wine, eating Pipers Crisps (Cid fell in love with them), smoking cigarettes and chatting for hours.

I have put together a map of the whole tour which you may find helpful if you are planning a Scotland trip too.
